In The Green
Junior newsletter season 2018/19 Volume 3 24th October 2018

Our Juniors are settling well. This week I will be sending out a link to access the GCC Team App, this is a very useful tool to keep in the loop of all the club news and updates.

I would like to congratulate three young ladies, their hard work and dedication is the reason we have been able to build such a wonderful Girls Team.
Dakota Edmonds, Jess Preston and Sienna Fatouros – these girls have made posters, talked at their school assembly’s and spread the word amongst their friends. Well done!

Round 2 Review

Girls
We had a big target to chase so you did very well to only go down by 24 runs. A big shout out to Kyra who hit 2 Fours.

Under 12 White
A tie, fabulous effort giving you were short of players! Finn topped scored on 14 and your bowling showed a lot of improvement.

Under 12 Green
Great to get our first win on the board, well done to all! Spencer topped scored on 23 and we won by 16 runs and Jet’s run out was amazing. Thank you to Cash for helping out. Great game, go Boro!

Under 14
Good team effort to give us the win, well done to Tom and James who put on a good partnership with the bat. A big welcome to Jack joining the team and welcome back to Lachie Trim.

Under 16
Unfortunately a loss but a big thank you to Tom Rust for helping the team out with Morgan and Damon unavailable.
Some of our Under 16s have already started to play with our senior teams, we would like all of the under 16s to have the opportunity to play a senior game this season. Can you please email me if your under 16 is not available for Saturday afternoon matches?
Under 10 round one review

Our under 10’s had their first game of cricket! We are very proud of this team making 82 runs their first time playing in the whites.
Thank you to Paul and Alison Bostock for taking on the team Manager role.
